Products:

Products are subject to availability, but should a product be out of stock we reserve the right to substitute an alternative of at least the same value. We will endeavour to contact you first.

Prices and Payment:

The price we charge is that displayed on our website at the time of ordering. Although we endeavour to maintain accurate prices, we reserve the right to correct a price if an error has been made. You will be entitled to either accept the new price or cancel and accept a refund. Payment is taken at the time of ordering and is processed by a secure Payment Provider. The registered address of the card holder is required in order to validate the transaction.

Ordering:

Please fill in all information as requested. Accurate information is essential to ensure a trouble-free delivery. If your delivery address may be difficult to find, please give more detailed information in the box provided.  If you are not in to receive delivery, the box will be left at your premises otherwise it will be return to a depot and go past its safe temperature-controlled time scale.

Due to the freshness of our produce we can only deliver on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. We require 72 hours to process orders and 2 weeks for Wedding cakes.

Acceptable Weight Variation:

Many of our products are a nominal weight at a specified price. Because orders are individually prepared, it can be expected that there may be some small variation in weight above or below the size ordered. We will ensure this variation is within 10% of the weight ordered.

Delivery:

Most of our products are made to order so we are only able to deliver on a Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, except after a bank holiday when we will be unable to deliver on a Wednesday.

We can deliver to most Mainland addresses and the Scottish Highlands (with exception of AB30, 33-38, 42-45, 53-56 that unfortunately we cannot deliver to.)

We require 72hrs to process orders and 2 weeks to process wedding cake orders. A surcharge will be levied on deliveries to the Scottish Highlands. Delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.

Goods are delivered by carrier before 4pm on the day of delivery. We prefer that someone is available to sign for the delivery, but if this is not possible please leave alternative instructions for leaving goods when you place your order. The delivery driver will be instructed to leave your goods in a reasonably secure place and will not take the box back to the depot. The delivery will be deemed to have been made when the consignee accepts the delivery in person, or the delivery driver leaves the goods.

All perishable goods are dispatched in boxes with ice packs to ensure the goods reach you in excellent condition for up to 48 hours.

Delivery Charges:

Our charges for postage and packaging are £10.95 for standard delivery (up to 5 working days) up to £30.00. £5.95 between £30.01 – £49.99 and FREE for orders £50 and over.

For the Scottish Highlands (excluding the postcodes mentioned above), £16.95 for standard delivery (between 2 – 7 Days) up to £30.00. £11.95 between £30.01 – £49.99 and FREE for orders £50 and over.

Cancellations and Amendments:

Cancellation or amendment of an order or product can only be accepted if we have received notification 4 days prior to the delivery day. After this time changes may be made at our discretion, so long as we have not started processing your order. You may contact us by email, or telephone our office, from 8.30am – 4.00pm.

Liability:

We are unable to accept liability for a late or failed delivery if the address is incorrect or incomplete. We do not accept liability for late delivery as dates are an estimate only and given in good faith, and deliveries are subject to prevailing weather and traffic conditions.

Nothing in these conditions will affect your statutory rights.

Satisfaction:

It is our intention to provide complete satisfaction with our products and the service we provide. If you consider we have not fulfilled our promise, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and we will endeavour to resolve any issues.

We are unable to accept returned goods due to their perishable nature.

English law shall apply to any contracts of sale and English courts will have jurisdiction in the event of any dispute.

Data Protection:

All payments through the website will be processed through a secure e-payment system. Any data collected by us will be used for the purposes of our dealings with you and to improve our service to you. Your details will be held securely and never disclosed to a third party without your permission.
